Symbiotic, a restaking protocol rivaling EigenLayer, has raised $29 million in a Series A round led by Pantera Capital. The funding will be used to expand the team and develop the Universal Staking framework, supporting various staking activities beyond traditional restaking, including insurance and financial products. Other participants in the round included Coinbase Ventures and over 100 angel investors.
